The story so far

I’m a Kansas City raised girl, half Brazilian, married to my husband, and we are raising our family right here in the metro. My mom Cristina is a ReeceNichols real estate agent. My family is the heart of nearly everything I write about. You’ll find recipes inspired by my heritage, KC events we actually attend, holiday photos we send out every year, pregnancy and motherhood stories, home projects we tackle on weekends, and the occasional fashion roundup.

Off the clock

When I’m not writing, I’m probably playing Mahjong with the Blair and Blythe Society on Thursdays, taking my mom to a Broadway show, planning our next family trip (Portugal, Italy, and Japan are all on the list), or trying to convince my kids that bees are friends not enemies.
