Amazon Home Finds I Bought and Actually Kept
I have a bad habit of online shopping late at night. And honestly, most of it gets returned. But every once in a while, something arrives and I think, where has this been all my life? This is that list. These are the Amazon home finds I actually kept, use regularly, and would buy again without hesitation.
I tried to keep it realistic. No giant furniture pieces or things that require a whole room overhaul. Just the small, affordable stuff that quietly made my home feel better.
A Ceramic Tray for Everything
I use a small ceramic tray on my kitchen counter to corral the stuff that ends up everywhere, keys, lip balm, hand lotion, a random hair clip. It sounds so simple but having a designated spot for clutter makes the whole counter feel more intentional. I grabbed mine from Amazon for under $20 and it holds up great. A Linen Table Runner
This one surprised me. I ordered a linen table runner mostly because it was cheap and I wanted to try it. Now my dining table always looks like I tried, even when I did not. It softens the table without looking fussy and it machine washes really well. Find linen table runners on Amazon.
Ceramic Vase From CB2
For a little more of a splurge, I picked up a ceramic vase from CB2 through ShopMy. It is the kind of piece that looks like you spent a lot more than you did, and it works on a shelf, a console table, or a dining table. Also great Amazon ceramic vase options here.
A Clip-On Book Light
Okay this one sounds boring but I love it. I read in bed while my husband is sleeping and this little clip-on light changed everything. No more phone flashlight, no more disturbing anyone. It was like $12. Clip-on book lights on Amazon.
Faux Eucalyptus Stems
I have killed real eucalyptus more times than I want to admit. The faux version from Amazon looks incredibly realistic, especially in a simple vase. I have mine in the bathroom and get compliments on it constantly. Nobody knows. Faux eucalyptus on Amazon.
A Bamboo Cutting Board With Juice Grooves
I know this seems basic but my old plastic cutting board was embarrassing and I kept putting off replacing it. Finally got a bamboo one with juice grooves and it makes cooking feel a little fancier. It photographs well too, which matters more than I want to admit. Shop bamboo cutting boards on Amazon.
A Set of Matching Glass Jars
Putting my pantry staples in matching glass jars was one of those things I resisted forever because it felt extra. And then I did it and now I feel like a person who has their life together every time I open the cabinet. The set I got was under $30 and holds flour, sugar, oats, and pasta. Peel and Stick Removable Hooks
I have these everywhere. On the back of cabinet doors, inside the pantry, on the side of the fridge. They hold more than you expect and come off without damaging the wall. A true rental essential and just a good home essential in general. Removable hooks on Amazon.
A Cozy Throw for the Couch
I went through a few cheap throws before I found one I actually loved. It is soft without pilling after two washes, warm enough for actual cold nights, and looks good draped over the couch. I keep two because one is always in the wash. Cozy throw blankets on Amazon.
I hope at least one of these makes its way into your home and earns a permanent spot. That is the goal. Let me know in the comments if you have an Amazon home find I need to try.
So glad you are here. Pam
