Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast

Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast

Cream cheese stuffed French toast is one of those weekend breakfast recipes that makes everyone at the table go quiet because they’re too busy eating. The sweet cream cheese filling with strawberry jam is such a good combo with the custardy brioche. This one is a keeper.

Why You’ll Love This

  • Thick brioche slices stuffed with creamy, sweet filling
  • Strawberry jam adds a fruity pop in every bite
  • Feels indulgent but comes together in 20 minutes
  • Perfect for slow weekend mornings

Ingredients

  • 4 thick slices brioche bread
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar for serving

How to Make It

Mix the softened cream cheese with the strawberry jam until smooth, then spread generously on two slices of brioche and top with the remaining slices to make sandwiches. Whisk together the eggs, milk, and cinnamon in a shallow dish. Dip each stuffed sandwich into the egg mixture on both sides, then cook in a buttered skillet over medium heat for about 3 minutes per side until golden. Dust with powdered sugar and serve right away.

I like to use a good non-stick skillet for French toast so it never sticks and browns evenly every time.
