Ham Egg and Cheese Biscuit Sandwiches
These ham, egg, and cheese biscuit sandwiches are the homemade version of that drive-through breakfast you crave but are better in literally every way. Fluffy biscuits, savory ham, a perfectly cooked egg, and melted cheddar all stacked together. My kids ask for these every single Saturday morning.
Why You’ll Love This
- Way better than fast food and ready in 30 minutes
- Buttery flaky biscuits make all the difference
- Melted cheddar and a hot sauce drizzle takes it over the top
- Easy to double the batch and feed a crowd
Ingredients
- 4 biscuits (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 slices deli ham
- 4 eggs
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- Hot sauce to taste
How to Make It
Warm your biscuits in the oven at 350 degrees for about 5 minutes while you cook the eggs. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the eggs to your liking, either over-easy or fried until set. In the same pan, warm the ham slices for about a minute on each side. Split each biscuit, layer with ham, egg, and a slice of cheddar, then close and let the residual heat melt the cheese. A little hot sauce on top is highly recommended.
If you love making biscuit sandwiches regularly, a cast iron skillet gives you that perfect even heat every time.
