The Five Products in My Lazy Day Makeup Routine
There are days when I have time for a full face of makeup and there are days when I am grateful if I brush my teeth before school pickup. The lazy day routine is not about settling, it is about knowing exactly which five products make you look like yourself and getting out the door in under five minutes.
Here is my actual lazy day lineup. Five products, no blending required beyond what fingers can do.
One: Tinted Moisturizer with SPF
This does the job of moisturizer, SPF, and light foundation all in one. I use the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream on really quick days or the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer when I want something that looks a little more polished. Either way it goes on with fingers in about 30 seconds. Find the Maybelline version on Amazon or the Laura Mercier at Sephora.
Two: Concealer Under Eyes and Spots
I dab with my finger and blend, that is it. The Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is my lazy day pick because it is fast and effective and costs under $8. No brush needed. Grab it on Amazon.
Three: Brow Gel
Filled-in brows make everything look more intentional even when nothing else is done. I use the NYX Thick It Stick It Brow Gel and it takes about 20 seconds. Brush up and you are done. Available on Amazon.
Four: Mascara
One coat of mascara and you look awake. I use the L’Oreal Telescopic on lazy days because the wand is precise enough to apply quickly without making a mess. One swipe per eye and done. Find it on Amazon.
Five: Tinted Lip Balm
Something with a little color that doubles as moisture. The Dior Lip Glow is my treat-yourself option but the e.l.f. Sheer Slick Lipstick does the same thing for a fraction of the price. Either way it pulls the whole look together. Check Amazon for options across all price points.
That Is Genuinely It
Five products, about four minutes, and you look put together enough for any regular day. The goal is not perfection on lazy days, it is just looking like yourself and feeling good about it.
