Mini Caprese Tarts

Mini Caprese Tarts

You know those recipes that disappear within five minutes of hitting the table? This one is it. Mini Caprese Tarts has become one of my go-to party starters here in Kansas City, and honestly it works just as well on a Tuesday night when everyone’s hanging around the kitchen. Simple ingredients, big flavor, zero stress.

Why You’ll Love This

  • Ready in about 30 min so there’s no sweating it when guests are on their way
  • Looks like you put in way more effort than you did (we love that)
  • Uses ingredients you can grab at any KC grocery store
  • Great for game day spreads, holiday parties, or just a snacky dinner night

Ingredients

  • puff pastry
  • cherry tomatoes
  • fresh mozzarella
  • basil
  • balsamic glaze
  • olive oil

How to Make It

Start by prepping your ingredients and getting everything organized before you turn on the heat. This recipe comes together quickly, so having things ready goes a long way. Follow the recipe card below for exact measurements and steps. The key is not to rush it since a little patience here pays off with way better flavor and texture.

Once it’s done, taste and adjust seasoning. These are best served fresh and at room temperature so the flavors really shine.
