It comes together in about 15 minutes and the combination of toasted sesame oil, fresh ginger, and garlic transforms simple steamed edamame into something you genuinely cannot stop eating. We make this as a snack constantly in our house.

How to Make It

Steam frozen edamame pods until bright green and just tender. Drain well. Warm sesame oil with grated fresh ginger and minced garlic in a small pan over low heat for 1-2 minutes — don’t let it brown. Add a splash of soy sauce and pinch of red pepper flakes. Toss warm edamame in the mixture, transfer to a serving bowl, top with toasted sesame seeds and flaky salt.

What I Use: Good Toasted Sesame Oil is what makes this taste restaurant-quality.
