Summer Peach Sangria

If there is one drink that screams summer to me it is a big, beautiful pitcher of sangria. And this Summer Peach Sangria? It is the version I make on repeat from June through September. We are talking fresh peaches soaking in white wine overnight until the whole pitcher is this gorgeous peachy, citrusy, slightly fizzy situation that everybody loses their mind over. It is so easy, so pretty, and so good.

I first made this for a backyard girls night a few summers ago and it has been a standing request ever since. The key is making it ahead and letting it sit in the fridge at least a couple of hours so the peaches really infuse into the wine. You can absolutely make it the night before and just add the sparkling water right before serving. Minimal effort, maximum wow factor.

What Wine to Use

Go with a crisp white wine for this one. Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc work perfectly because they are light enough to let the peach flavor shine. You do not need to spend a ton either, a nice bottle in the $10-15 range is totally perfect for sangria. Save the fancy stuff for sipping on its own.

Make It Your Own

This recipe is super flexible. Skip the peach schnapps to keep it lighter, or add a splash of brandy if you want a more classic sangria vibe. Swap the sparkling water for lemon-lime soda if you want it a little sweeter. Add raspberries or sliced strawberries to the pitcher for extra color and flavor. You really cannot go wrong.

Notes

Make this the night before for even better flavor. The longer it sits, the more the peaches infuse the wine.

Serving Tips

Serve over lots of ice in wine glasses or even big mason jars. Add a sprig of fresh mint and maybe a peach slice on the rim for that extra touch that makes people feel so special. This recipe makes about 6 servings but honestly double it for any gathering because it goes fast. Like, really fast.

This is summer in a glass and I am not accepting any criticism. Make it this weekend for whoever you love most and watch their eyes light up. Cheers!

XO, Pam
